Waking up early helped me to become more productive as I get extra time in the day to do your things.
But just getting up early does not automatically create the outcome you want. Rather, it is the activities that you do that make the difference. Here are 6 activities that you can do by waking up early.
Review your plan for the day
One of the activities I like to do early in the morning is to review my plan for the day.
You can take a moment in the morning to plan your take, write down what do you want to do, what actions are important to you and what can be done later.
Some people do this before going to bed, but in my experience, I found out that doing on weekend or early in the morning yield more results.
Morning exercises help to stimulate your body and mind, depending on your schedule you can work out from 15 minutes to 1 hour.
Recently I started walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes, this gives me the energy to tackle my day (also I need it in order to reduce my belly fat).
Daily exercise is also a great stress reducer.
If you can not go to the gym or treadmill, you can just go out and walk for 15 minutes.
This is a new habit that I recently incorporated on my morning routine, just meditating for 5 minutes a day increased my focus.
Sometimes I just sit there visualizing how my day will go along, or what I am planning to do on that day, another day I visualize things I have on my life and just be grateful.
Also, you can visualize how is your life going to be after achieving all your goals, the idea here is to keep your mind focused on just one thing for a few minutes.
It hard and look stupid at the beginning but with the time you will see that your mindset and focus change and it will improve your life.
Haven’t you heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Plot the time in your schedule to eat a healthy breakfast with protein or complex carbohydrates that release energy throughout the day.
Some of the best foods, according to an article at Health.com, include oatmeal, Greek yogurt, grapefruit, and eggs.
Keep a journal.
You need to keep a journal, write down your dreams, plans, pains, your feeling.
For me this has been like a personal therapist, it has helped me to come out from a very dark period in my life.
Also, I use my morning to read books about marketing, industry safety, engineering and any other topic I find out it is interesting for me at that moment, the idea here is to keep learning and improving each day.
Those are 6 activities I do since I started waking up early, which of these activities do you do? Let me know in the comment section below.
